Turning to photography as a creative outlet during a valiant fight with breast cancer at age 34, [info]renaissance10 survived and set up a photo contest to help raise funds for the Lavender Trust, a nonprofit that provides information and support to younger women with breast cancer. In the first two years, the competition brought in over £65,000 (that's $107,260.73 U.S.!), with entries from 130 countries last year. Renaissance10 recently joined LiveJournal to meet other passionate photographers and find supportive friends.

Teacup doll skirt :)

  • Dec. 28th, 2009 at 12:24 PM
This tea party inspired skirt is perfect for well, tea parties or taking your doll along to go see the new Alice in Wonderland movie in the new year. Or if you want something sweet but not pastel coloured for your doll :)

It should fit Blythe and Pullip dolls too although I imagine the lenght will be different on them.

Only 1 in stock! It's for direct sale, so if you want one, make sure to snatch it up whilst stock lasts. The fabric is sold out so if it's gone, it's gone!

Hat decoration :)

  • Dec. 23rd, 2009 at 10:23 AM
Last year in December I got two mini top hats from a stand at Archeon Midwinter fair (which I sadly didn't manage to go to this year).
One of the hats is still being all plain and untouched, but I did manage to decorate the other.
I put it on my BJD's head because I'm not sure whether or now I want to make a fascinator type thing for myself out of it yet :)
Anyway, I think it looks quite pretty on her :)

plaid dolls skirts

I made these two cute little plaid skirts for BJD out of some left over fabric so they're one of a kind! One skirt is slightly shorter than the other but I love them both. I'm selling them though. I'm sure they'll fit for Blythe and Pulip dolls too, but the lenght will probably differ slightly on those dolls. Times like this I wish I owned both a Blythe and a Pulip so I could model the skirts on them too.
